CLAUDIA - CONTORTIONIST
Claudia trained in the performing arts at The Urdang Academy, which gave her a firm foundation in acting, dancing and singing. She then specialised in contortion on The National Centre for Circus Arts BA programme, where she was awarded a first class honours degree and the Jane Rice-Bowen Award.
This elite training has given Claudia grace and strength, enhancing her natural flexibility; she is one of the only British contortionists to be able to perform the triple fold (an incredible 360° backbend), and to be able to perform the Marinelli bend. Claudia is the ONLY British contortionist to be able to perform the spinning Marinelli bend. Claudia’s acts include a variety of amazing handstands, as well as extreme backbends and contortion en pointe. Some of Claudia’s work combines comedy with contortion.
Claudia is based in Essex and London, but will travel to venues around the UK, and abroad.
